Gris Blanc is a rosé wine with the protected geographical indication Pays d’Oc. The vineyards are mainly located in the Tautavel region, in the heart of southern France, ideally situated between the Pyrenees and the Mediterranean.
The Grenache grapes from which this wine is made come into their own thanks to the exceptional climate: little rainfall and optimal sunshine..
The grapes were harvested by hand and immediately pressed. The aromas of the Grenache have been preserved. Fermentation took place at low temperature, after which the process was completed by maturing on fine lees for several weeks.
This rosé wine has a very pale colour with white and grey nuances. In the nose you will find notes of red fruit and in the mouth you will feel a lot of freshness that enhances its fruity side.
The Gris Blanc should be served at a temperature between 10 and 12° C for optimal taste.
To drink with an aperitif, dishes with shellfish, crustaceans, fish, spices (curry), salads, tagines or Asian dishes. It also brings out the taste of Mediterranean salads, tagines or Asian dishes.
